October TFT Circuit – Top 3 Profile

October TFT Circuit – Top 3 Profile

We at The Gaming Stadium are happy to introduce our first ever TFT Circuit champions! These are the winners from our October TFT Invitational tournament. We asked our three finalists about their experience during the circuit– here were their responses:

First Place – SelectMaple

Name: Matthew “SelectMaple” Wong
Current Rank: +600lp Challenger
Favourite Synergies during Season 1: As of recently because of all the sorcerer builds going around, I really like Wild Assassins with double IE Akali but usually can’t go into the build often due to needing a bunch of BF Swords
Advice for climbing in TFT Ranked: Watch streamers– but watch multiple streamers, not just one, and pay attention to each of their different strategies and ideas.
Thoughts on TFT Rise of the Elements: I like change and updates when it comes to games so that there isn’t the same old meta. I’m excited to play RoTE on release and will definitely trying to hit top 10 next season

Second Place – itzBolt

Name: Benton “itzBolt” Chan
Current Rank: Masters
Favourite Synergies during Season 1: Any build with Kaisa is always fun to watch her fly around killing things. Giant Slayer, Guinsoo Rageblade and Dragon Claw makes her unkillable.
Advice for climbing in TFT Ranked: Study streams and think about how streamers play and see if you’d do something similar and if not how your line of play varies from theirs.
Thoughts on TFT Rise of the Elements: Looking forward to learning all the new traits and figuring out what comps are the best and learn how to adjust my playstyle to climb ranks.

Third Place – oFwanoFano

Name: Abhinav “oFwanoFano” Behera
Current Rank: Diamond 2
Favourite Synergies during Season 1: See attachment below.
Advice for climbing in TFT Ranked: Playing with friends to help you identify mistakes that you can’t spot by yourself. r/CompetitiveTFT is a good place to learn as well – it has guides and education youtube videos
Thoughts on TFT Rise of the Elements: Rotation/Expansion is the best part of every game. In set 2 we get to rediscover comps that we might like (then again, I still get to play blademasters), see so many new champions and ult animations, we get to also play on a larger board with hexes so even the positioning becomes more dynamic. So in conclusion, I am looking forward to everything in RotE.
